I know how to trumpet, but I’m not a musician,
And I forage for vegetation to get my nutrition.
My ears are floppy, and I have protrusions from my mouth,
I’m living large, but smaller than my cousins down south.
I’m sensitive, compassionate, and full of emotion,
But I’ll play in the mud and use it as lotion.
What am I?
